is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: School Management Admin Intern

Stipend:  R7500,00

Location: Gauteng (Mamelodi East)
About the role
To provide administrative support to the school management team and ensure efficient daily operations of learner records, communication, and office coordination.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain learner registration files and update records
  • Capture attendance for learners and staff
  • Assist with admission and enrolment processes
  • Prepare letters, forms, and school communication to parents
  • Manage filing systems (physical and digital)
  • Support timetable coordination and classroom allocations
  • Assist in organising meetings, events, and school programmes
  • Handle reception duties (answering calls, welcoming visitors)
  • Maintain inventory records for school resources
  • Assist with reporting to the Department of Education where required

Minimum Requirements
  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
  • Matric.
  • Qualification in Public Management / Office Administration / Education Support
  • Good computer literacy (Word, Excel, Email)
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work with learners, parents, and staff professionally
