National Retail giant based in Boksburg, has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Financial Manager to join their branch in Boksburg. Be responsible for the overall direction on finance and administration in the region.  Required to perform (on occasion) audits in other regions and get involved in other projects.  Successful incumbent is required to travel to various branches in the region.

The role requires a completed B.Com (Accounting) degree, a B.Com (Hons) (Accounting) is highly advantageous, coupled with a minimum of 5+ years in a similar role as a Regional FM within the Retail sector.

Successful incumbent will have an in-depth knowledge of accounting structures and reports ie. income statements, prepare, analyze and ensure adherence to budget, debtors age analysis, creditors recons, GL, cashbook, COS reconciliation; stock takes, debtors follow-ups, resolving of CRS reconciliation queries; cash-ups; invoicing, receiving cash and debtors account rules); strong grasp of IFRS principles, knowledge of relevant Labour Legislation (BCEA); VAT rules etc. 

Manage teams in the various branches, visit retail outlets; highlight trends and opportunities that could lead to improvements ito revenue generation; implement solid controls; constantly monitor and report on any internal risk areas within the operations of each retail branch; compile staff development reports and set clear performance matrix; compile and report on business performance scorecard and more!

Experience on SAGE X3 as well as Sharepoint etc highly advantageous.
