Our client, a well-established player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team.
This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who has developed strong technical expertise and is looking to take ownership of a division’s financial function within a structured and fast-paced environment. Manufacturing industry exposure is essential.

🔍 Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance across the division. Duties will include:- Preparing monthly journals and financial reports
- Compiling balance sheets and profit & loss statements
- Assisting with annual audit preparation and resolving audit findings
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies and non-compliance issues
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing monthly sales and management reports
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Ensuring accuracy of credit notes and stock adjustments
- Preparing and submitting VAT reconciliations and returns
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) essential
- Relevant Finance Degree (NQF Level 7) essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
- Syspro experience is essential
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
