Industrial Manufacturing concern has a new opportunity for a Procurement Manager (Finance) (EE) to be based in either Atlantis in the Cape or in Wadeville (Gauteng).  Be responsible for the management and co-ordination of all procurement activities for the business which includes the various manufacturing operations; provide procurement best practice and continuous optimisation support to the business; and ensure that procurement contributes to the business achieving it's objectives.

Successful incumbent will have a completed Degree in Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain, coupled with a minimum of 3 years Management experience in Procurement or Supply Chain within an Industrial Manufacturing company.  Ensure procurement compliance to group procurement, financial and code of ethics policies; prepare and manage annual budget preparation and quarterly outlooks for key commodities; manage key commodity, service and capital purchase price negotiations; manage key commodity order placement, delivery and stock levels in conjunction with Production Planning; manage tender issue and evaluation for key commodities, services and capital purchases; manage contract implementation for key commodities, services and capital purchases; manage continuous improvement initiatives through regular supplier and commodity reviews; manage supplier performance; management Procurement staff and performance; maintain procurement supplier commodity information on the group Sharepoint portal which includes key commodity trends and analysis.
