Industrial services concern, based in the West of Johannesburg, is looking for an Audit and Tax Compliance Officer to join their finance team. This is a superb opportunity for a newly qualified CA(SA) looking for a role in commerce.

Audit and Tax Compliance Officer: Africa Subsidiaries

Qualifications:

• BCom Accounting/ similar
• Honours in Accounting/ similar (advantageous)
• Completed SAICA Articles 
• OR a newly qualified CA(SA)

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring tax compliance in all African subsidiary countries (9) through:
• Meeting deadlines for all statutory taxes:

- PAYE
- Social Taxes
- VAT
- WHT
- Provisional Tax
- Annual CIT

• Knowledgeable of tax laws and requirements in all countries in conjunction with local tax advisors
• Work with local tax advisors to resolve any tax audits and queries from local tax authorities.
• Prepare the annual audit packs for all countries in conjunction with the Financial Manager and CFO.
• Work with accounts team to ensure compliance in all accounting maters to ensure that there will not be any tax or audit issues.
• Submit to the auditors and resolve all audit queries to bring audits to conclusion and sign off by directors.
