Manufacturing concern based in Pretoria / Centurion has an opportunity for a Cost Accountant. This role is the perfect opportunity to grow and develop your career in an expanding concern.

The role will be consist of analysing and managing cost related data for the manufacturing operations.
Focus on budgeting, cost control, costing, inventory and profitability analysis.

Cost Accounting and Analysis
Develop and maintain costing systems
Analyse actual production costs vs system costing
Identify variances
Re-cost and new costings

Inventory Management
Analyse movements
Perform periodic audits
Ensure all stock is costed accurately

Budgeting and Forecasting
Assist in preparing annual budgets, rolling forecasts and financial planning
Develop and implement cost saving initiatives

Financial Reporting and Compliance
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual cost accounting reports

Process Improvement
Identify cost reduction opportunities and process improvements
Implement cost control procedures

Previous experience in manufacturing, with knowledge of costing principles, inventory management and financial analysis
Tertiary financial degree essential
CIMA or studying towards highly advantageous
