Opportunity Available!! Our well known client in the Manufacturing Sector is looking to employ a Mechanical Technician to join their dynamic team in Middelburg.
Job Description:
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical Technician is responsible to provide technical support to the day shift personnel, ensuring maximum plant availability, efficiency, quality and reliability maintained.
- Perform root cause failure analysis and investigate production and quality related issues.
- Incumbent will be required to lead projects for both improvements and new developments in the plant.
- During shutdowns periods he/she will be involved with shut planning and supervision.
- The incumbent may periodically act in the position of section Engineer to gain experience with management and working with team managers.
Job Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years Basic Metal Manufacturing
- Diploma
- Knowledge of Hydraulic
- Pneumatic and complex mechanical systems.
- Must have sound knowledge of planned maintenance principles
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to think analytically
- Flexible and willing to work overtime when required
- Good communication skills with ability to liaise with suppliers and colleagues on all levels
- Plant process and equipment knowledge will be advantages.
