Our client in Johannesburg is currently seeking an Onsite Support Technician to join their team. The position entails supporting ESSN (Enterprise Software, Servers, and Storage & Networking) products for both existing and potential customers, as well as maintaining SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Vendor ESSN hardware product technical certifications are essential (Dell, HP & Cisco) – Min 5 Years Working Experience (IT and hardware and software)
  • Software Certifications (Microsoft, Adobe, VMware. etc.)
  • CompTIA Certification A+ & N+
  • MCP or MCSE
  • Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology
  • 5 years of IT hardware and software support experience
DUTIES:
  • Assisting clients through monthly call reporting.
  • Client Liaison: Communicating effectively with clients to comprehend their IT system requirements, assessed through customer feedback.
  • Customer Service and Account Management: Managing and supporting client accounts to foster long-term partnerships, evaluated during account reviews.
  • Client Relationships: Building and sustaining client relationships for repeated business, assessed through customer feedback.
  • Understanding the company's value proposition, product range, and services, reviewed during management evaluations.
  • Training & Certification: Attending mandatory training sessions to enhance skills on Servers, Storage, and Networking products, with the completion of relevant certification exams, tracked through regular skills training and testing.
  • Support Service SLA Agreements: Ensuring support for Service Level Agreements, including extended warranties, evaluated during account reviews.
  • Participating in monthly KPI sessions to review personal performance and establish action plans, tracked through KPI reviews.
  • Presentation: Representing oneself and the company professionally, aligning all documentation with company standards, assessed during management reviews.
HOURS:
  • Monday to Friday (08h00 to 16h30)
