Our client in Blackheath is seeking a dedicated Junior Designer & Social Media Coordinator. You will be responsible for creating visual content that aligns with the brand’s identity and messaging as well as managing the company’s social media accounts, creating engaging content (as per marketing strategy) in order to grow the brand’s online presence.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Graphic Design, Social Media Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ Years proven experience as a Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing social media platforms and creating content - With a strong portfolio to show.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and other design software. Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Meta, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Experience with paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook insights)
  • Natural Creative flair and an innovative approach to visual design.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new design techniques.
  • Creative with a passion for design and storytelling.
  • Organised, with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.

DUTIES:
 
1. Graphic Design:
  • Design digital and print materials, including social media graphics, website graphics, banners, ads, brochures & catalogues, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing manager to create compelling visual content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Edit and enhance images, videos, and other media assets to ensure high-quality visual output.
  • Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies to keep the brand’s visual identity fresh and modern.  
2. Social Media Coordination:
  • Implement and manage the company’s social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok (in line with the marketing strategy).
  • Create and schedule engaging posts, stories, and videos that resonate with the target audience (in line with the marketing strategy).
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and user engagement in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.
  • Investigate routes to collaborate with influencers and partners to amplify brand presence.

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 - 16:00
