Building Foreman – Multi-Storey Building Projects

Are you an experienced Building Foreman with a proven track record of delivering high-quality multi-storey building projects?
A well-established and highly respected building contractor is seeking a hands-on Foreman to join their Cape Town team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on prestigious developments while leading skilled site teams and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on multi-storey building projects.
• Supervise subcontractors, labour teams, and site personnel.
• Coordinate construction activities in accordance with programme requirements.
• Ensure exceptional quality workmanship throughout all phases of construction.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor productivity, site progress, and material requirements.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and professional consultants.
• Ensure work is completed according to drawings and specifications.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 8 years' experience as a Building Foreman on commercial or residential building projects.
• Proven experience managing multi-storey building developments.
• Strong knowledge of concrete structures, finishes, and general building practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Relevant construction qualification will be advantageous.
