CONCRETE STRUCTURES FOREMAN – Cape Town
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise concrete structures and reinforced concrete construction on site
- Manage construction teams, subcontractors and daily site activities
- Coordinate shuttering/formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement
- Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications and programme
- Monitor quality, productivity and workmanship
- Coordinate concrete pours and ensure correct preparation and sequencing
- Liaise with Site Management, Engineers and subcontractors
- Conduct daily inspections and maintain site records
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality requirements
- Assist with planning, programming and resource allocation
- Identify and resolve construction-related issues efficiently
- 5+ years’ experience as a Concrete Structures Foreman or similar role
- Strong experience in reinforced concrete and structural construction
- Proven experience on medium to large building projects
- Good understanding of construction drawings and structural details
- Experience managing teams and subcontractors
- Strong knowledge of formwork, reinforcement and concrete works
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Relevant construction qualification or trade background will be advantageous
