A leading and highly respected Professional Quantity Surveying (PrQS) firm is seeking an experienced Registered Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Bryanston, Gauteng.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor looking to join a professional consultancy environment and work on a diverse portfolio of high-value projects.

Minimum Requirements
BSc / BTech / BCom Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
Professionally registered Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with SACQSP
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong consulting quantity surveying experience
  • Proven experience across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and cost planning through to final account
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management and commercial administration
  • Excellent measurement, estimating and reporting capabilities
  • Proficient in relevant QS software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, negotiation and client-management skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and own transport
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional quantity surveying services across multiple projects
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets and feasibility studies
  • Undertake cost planning and value engineering
  • Prepare and manage tender documentation
  • Evaluate tenders and provide commercial recommendations
  • Conduct valuations and manage payment processes
  • Monitor project costs against approved budgets
  • Manage variations, claims and final accounts
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams
  • Provide strategic commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle
