A reputable building contractor is seeking an experienced and driven Building Site Manager to oversee and manage building sites in the Paarl area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site operations and construction activities.
• Oversee subcontractors, site personnel, and construction teams.
• Ensure projects are completed according to programme, budget, and quality specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, consultants, and clients.
• Monitor construction progress and resolve site-related challenges.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and construction documentation.
• Ensure adherence to building regulations, specifications, and contractual requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Building Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Building Site Manager within the construction industry.
• Strong experience managing building projects from commencement to completion.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, site procedures, and project coordination.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Relevant health and safety knowledge and compliance experience.
