About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to lead and support the implementation and maintenance of finance and HR products within the bank, leveraging SAP S/4HANA for finance and SuccessFactors for HR. The role involves integrating new solutions based on requirements to ERP solution or ERP systems, while also supporting peripheral solutions in procurement. The candidate will play a crucial role in driving business efficiency and effectiveness through robust ERP solutions, primarily focusing on SAP but remaining adaptable to other systems as needed. This position requires a proactive, self-starting individual who can engage with senior stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate has:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in solution architecture
  • 6-8 years in systems integration design and implementation
  • While SAP is preferred, the role requires flexibility to work with other ERP systems
  • Proven experience with cloud solution offerings, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Application/Solution architecture, integration points, and how solutions align
  • with business processes
  • Leading the solution architecture of ERP- or key application- implementations within area of expertise would be advantageous
  • Experience in Stakeholder Management

Minimum Education
  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • A degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Ideal Education
  • And/or a relevant certification in SAP module, ERP Systems or ITIL

Minimum Knowledge
  • Proficient / expert knowledge of designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions
  • A thorough understanding of typical technologies and platforms within organizations
  • Systems implementation and technical systems support
  • MS Office Proficiency
  • System architecture (technical design and implementation processes)
  • Systems analysis and design
  • UML or equivalent modelling language
  • IT systems development processes
  • Application development
  • Standards and governance

Tech Knowledge
  • AWS and SAP

Ideal Knowledge
  • 2 years+ Agile experience and working knowledge of Jira and or Confluence
  • Systems Integration best practices and design
  • Knowledge and application of relevant IT best practices
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management principles and frameworks (ITIL 4)
  • In-depth knowledge of IT software (including ERP’s), hardware and infrastructure and Cloud
  • Knowledge of Project Management methods
