Our client in Sandton is looking for a Regional Sales Engineer- Control Valves with a great network in the Mining sector in South Africa
Key requirement
  • BSC/BA degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering or related field
  • Valve experience
  • 5-8 years proven experience as a Technical sales Rep
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue, end user sales experience 
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPI's
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and advance MS Excel
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of all sales policies and procedures
Key responsibility
  • Develop effective territory sales and marketing strategies
  • Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Discover sales opportunities through consumer research 
  • Present products and services to prospective customers
  • Participate in industry or promotional events, conduct and organize training on company products and services
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs
  • Monitor competition within assigned region
  • Focusing on constantly acquiring new customers and contacts on CRM, investigating and managing of MRO, projects and tender business
  • Analyzing sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniques
  • Conducting surveys to better understand customer needs
