Our client is currently looking for a Chemical Dosing/Mechanical Technician that is capable of setting up machinery. If you willing to learn and have a interest with drawings, this is the ideal opportunity for you. Entry level boilermakers, plumbers, welders and fitter & turners will be considered.

Position: Chemical Dosing/Mechanical Technician

Location: Macassar, Western Cape

Minimum Qualifying Criteria:

• Technical and/or Mechanical background/qualification
• N1–N3 and/or N4–N6 Certificate, focusing on the theory of fitting, turning, and machining.
• Strong basic technical and engineering abilities.
• Proven manufacturing skills, troubleshooting abilities and engineering knowledge. 
• Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in site installations, manufacturing & assembly.
• Valid and unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license.
• Can communicate well in both English & Afrikaans.
• On occasions can travel for work for a week or two.
• MUST already live in Cape Town
• Own reliable vehicle for to and from work.
