Our client is looking for a Design Engineer to join their firm

Job Requirements

• National Diploma in Mechanical with three years of machine building experience or BSc Eng Mechanical/ Mechatronic / Elec - Mech or higher in an engineering or science-related field
• 5 years of experience actively using CAD Software
• Good understanding and practical ability for G&D tolerance and engineering calculations.
• Excellence in computer literacy skills
• Excellence in oral and written communication skills

Job Duties

• Visit and talk directly with customers during their projects' implementation and support phases.
• Design & detail equipment based on customer requirements and within the guidelines of senior design engineers.
• Perform R&D to determine existing methodologies for solving specific problems or to find similar methodologies and adapt accordingly.
• Perform design FMEAs.
• Source and manage suppliers for components used within your design.
• Ensure project milestones are met.
• Be part of the equipment commissioning team.

R25 000 to R40 000
