An exciting opportunity exists for a recent graduate to join a dynamic Freight & Logistics environment as a Graduate Account Operator.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in customer service, operations, and account management within the supply chain industry. You will gain hands-on experience managing key client relationships, coordinating shipments, and supporting end-to-end logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key account customers, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Provide regular updates to clients via email, phone, and meetings regarding shipment status.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to track and communicate delivery progress.
  • Assist in managing the full shipment lifecycle, from quoting to final delivery.
  • Support the preparation of quotes and consignment documentation.
  • Ensure all shipment information complies with customs and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify accuracy of invoices, commodity codes, and shipment documentation.
  • Identify and escalate any issues or delays, ensuring quick resolution.
  • Assist with reporting on customer performance and service levels.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Key Account team.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • Strong interest in the Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Advantageous

  • Exposure to Air, Sea, or Road Freight
  • Understanding of customs processes and compliance
  • Internship or work experience in a B2B customer service environment
