An exciting opportunity exists for a recent graduate to join a dynamic Freight & Logistics environment as a Graduate Account Operator.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in customer service, operations, and account management within the supply chain industry. You will gain hands-on experience managing key client relationships, coordinating shipments, and supporting end-to-end logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for key account customers, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Provide regular updates to clients via email, phone, and meetings regarding shipment status.
- Coordinate with internal teams to track and communicate delivery progress.
- Assist in managing the full shipment lifecycle, from quoting to final delivery.
- Support the preparation of quotes and consignment documentation.
- Ensure all shipment information complies with customs and regulatory requirements.
- Verify accuracy of invoices, commodity codes, and shipment documentation.
- Identify and escalate any issues or delays, ensuring quick resolution.
- Assist with reporting on customer performance and service levels.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Key Account team.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Strong interest in the Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Exposure to Air, Sea, or Road Freight
- Understanding of customs processes and compliance
- Internship or work experience in a B2B customer service environment
