Business Development Manager – Agencies
Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Are you a commercially driven professional with a passion for aviation and business growth? We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Agencies to lead the expansion of our charter services and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand the charter client base.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline across multiple sectors, including Oil & Gas and emerging markets.
  • Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare and present compelling client proposals and tender submissions.
  • Lead contract negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners.
  • Work closely with Operations, Safety, Engineering, Finance, IT, and other internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and provide regular sales and market reports.

What We're Looking For

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline.
  • 5–10 years' experience in business development, sales, or a similar commercial role within the charter or aviation industry.
  • Strong understanding of charter operations, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue and sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in Papua New Guinea or other emerging markets will be advantageous.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Success Measures

  • Charter lead generation and conversion.
  • Year-on-year charter revenue growth.
  • Customer retention and contract renewal rates.
  • Pipeline growth and deal closure efficiency.
  • Client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
  • Timely submission of internal and external reports.
