Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity to support trusted decision-making
• Enforce documentation standards, system compliance, and audit readiness
• Design and implement practical, value-driven digital solutions aligned to business needs
• Lead rollout of digital initiatives, including change enablement and user training
• Build and evolve scalable data platforms, enabling advanced analytics and AI adoption
• Align local systems with global platforms and oversee cloud data governance
• Optimise infrastructure by reducing redundancy and improving scalability and efficiency
• Drive security, disaster recovery, and departmental risk management practices
• Ensure compliance with SHE standards and performance requirements
• Manage stakeholders, service providers, and industry partnerships
• Lead team performance, recruitment, and capability development
• Mentor teams and promote digital and AI-driven transformation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in data engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Business related Post Graduate Diploma NQF level 7 or higher
• 7+ years in Digital development and integration experience
• 7+ years in a Data Engineering or related technical role
• Previous management experience
