Our engineering and consulting client, operating in the energy, mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, and environmental sectors, is currently seeking a talented Civil Designer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Checking of drawings on time and within budget - encompassing all aspects of a plant construction package in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Clarity and accuracy of drawings.
• Knowledge and adherence to CAD Procedures.
• Knowledge of and adherence to applicable standards and the company Drafting Procedures.
• Accurate completion and timely submission of timesheets.
• Adherence to project man-hour budgets.
• Adherence to company Standards and Procedures.
• Assist with training of junior draughtspersons

Qualifications and Experience:

• Civil Diploma or equivalent.
• Intergraph Smartplant 3D Structural modelling software package experience.
• Bentley Microstation 3D CAD software package experience version 8 or later.
• 10 years minimum design draughting experience, specifically in the mining and minerals processing area.
