An established and rapidly growing organisation specialising in project finance, construction, and large-scale project implementation is seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join their team. The business is involved in managing projects from concept and funding through to construction, operational handover, and successful completion. This role offers the opportunity to become part of a fast-paced environment where finance plays a critical role in driving project success.

Minimum Requirements

  • SAIPA Qualification
  • Approximately 3 years' post-articles experience
  • Strong full-function accounting experience
  • Experience with Xero will be advantageous
  • Proven experience preparing management accounts
  • Exposure to audits and financial reporting processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full accounting function
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Assist with audit preparation and statutory compliance
  • Oversee reconciliations and month-end reporting processes
  • Ensure accurate financial control across multiple projects
  • Monitor project costing, budgets, and expenditure against forecasts
  • Support the finance team in tracking construction and implementation project performance from inception through to completion
  • Assist with process improvements and operational finance initiatives
