An established and fast-paced organisation is seeking a motivated Financial Accountant to join its team based in Johannesburg North.

This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional looking to gain strong exposure within a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
 
The role offers involvement across the full finance function, providing valuable exposure to reporting, reconciliations, and operational finance processes. Working closely with management and overseeing two direct reports, this position is well suited to a candidate looking to strengthen both their technical accounting and leadership capabilities.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Oversee reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
• Manage and support two direct reports within the finance team
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
• CIMA qualification or studies advantageous
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a financial accounting role
• Exposure to full-function accounting and reporting essential
• Previous team leadership or supervisory exposure advantageous
• Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting systems proficiency
