🔹 ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER
📍 Location: Rustenburg or Johannesburg
💰 Salary: R15 000–R25 000, negotiable

The role involves supporting environmental management, monitoring and responsible operating practices within the mining environment.

Minimum Requirements:
- Previous mining experience is required.
- Relevant qualifications and valid certificates applicable to the position.
- Environmental experience within the mining sector will be advantageous.
- Understanding of environmental monitoring and management practices.
- Strong attention to detail and report-writing skills.
- Good organisational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental inspections and assist with monitoring activities.
- Support the implementation of environmental management plans and procedures.
- Maintain environmental records and prepare reports.
- Identify environmental risks and follow up on corrective actions.
- Assist with waste management, pollution prevention and rehabilitation monitoring.
- Support environmental audits and employee awareness initiatives.
- Liaise with operational teams on environmental matters.
