Company in Rustenburg requires the services of a Workshop Technician / Mechanic

Qualifications and Skills :

• Knowledge of 2-stroke, 4-stroke and diesel engines.
• Technical qualification (advantageous).
• Previous experience as a mechanic/technician in the equipment hire industry would be advantages.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, service, and repair small and medium plant and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out necessary mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs.
• Conduct pre-hire and post-hire checks to maintain safety and performance standards.
• Ensure that necessary spare parts are planned for and ordered.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment.
• Keep accurate service and repair records.
