BUSINESS DEVELOPER - REMOTE (COMMISSION ONLY - Freelance)

Contract Type: Independent contractor on a Service Level Agreement
Remuneration: Commission only (uncapped)

Skillnet Recruitment is looking for driven, self-managed Business Developers to partner with us on a commission-only basis. You will find and win new clients for our recruitment services, while our recruitment team handles the sourcing and placement of candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and approach new clients through cold calling, networking and LinkedIn
- Set up meetings and present our recruitment services
- Negotiate terms and secure signed client agreements
- Grow existing accounts and generate repeat business
- Pass vacancies and job briefs on to the recruitment team
- Keep client records and the sales pipeline updated on Placement Partner

REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- Minimum 2 years' B2B sales or business development experience
- Recruitment or staffing industry experience is a huge advantage
- Experience with Placement Partner is an advantage
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Strong business network and contactable references
- Confident cold caller, self-driven and comfortable earning on commission only

REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS
- Own laptop
- Stable and fast internet connection
- Backup power is an advantage
- Own cellphone and transport for client meetings
