Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ an Electrician to join their team in Kariega/ Uitenhage.

Job Description: 

• Install, repair and maintain plant equipment through the provision of electrical services in accordance with applicable legislative and Company standards
• Inform Maintenance Team leader in advance of material required to perform tasks
• Instruct assistant personnel in proper use of all equipment and give clear instructions
• Ensure that all plant equipment is maintained in good order and that documentation is completed timeously and accurately
• Inform the Maintenance Team leader timeously of any problems that must be resolved
• Perform any reasonable task relating to general maintenance
• Comply with company internal maintenance strategy.

Job Requirements: 

• N4 Electrical Engineering qualification, Ideally a N6.
• Trade Tested Electrician with PLC, Siemens & Robotic experience
• 5 years experience within a high production demand automotive manufacturing plant.
• Computer literacy, problem solving skills, teamwork and good communication skills
• Willing to work rotating shifts and flexible hours, including overtime when required.
