Residential Building Projects | Northern Suburbs, Cape Town
Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of residential building sites.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to programme, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Drive productivity while maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with approved drawings and building regulations.
  • Plan daily and weekly construction activities.
  • Manage material usage and minimise wastage.
  • Liaise effectively with Contracts Managers, Site Agents, consultants, and clients.
  • Mentor junior site staff and promote a positive site culture.
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a General Foreman on residential building projects.
  • Proven track record delivering multi-unit residential developments.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and finishing trades.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Stable employment history with reputable building contractors or developers.
