Site Agent – Upmarket Multi-Storey Residential Projects

A well-established and highly respected building contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to take full responsibility for the successful delivery of prestigious multi-storey residential developments in Cape Town.

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma or Degree in Building or Construction Management.
• Minimum 8 years' experience as a Site Agent with a reputable building contractor.
• Proven experience managing multi-storey residential or luxury apartment developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control and health & safety requirements.
• Ability to lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve programme and quality objectives.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with construction planning software will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all site operations from establishment through to practical completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to ensure programme targets are achieved.
• Monitor construction quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental standards on site.
• Control project costs and minimise waste.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and professional teams.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain accurate site records.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
