Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years reservations experience preferably in a tour operating environment, no hotel, car rental reservations
• Attention to detail
• Understanding of travel industry
• Communication skills and a good command of the English language
• A good knowledge on any of the destinations: Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar, Zambia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda, Seychelles
• Tourplan reservations system, added advantage

KPAs:

• Handling reservation requests either email or telephonic
• Processing of reservations from quote to finalising, including reservations, invoicing and travel documents
• Proactive selling of our products and services ensuring the best possible safari for the guest

• Suitable business qualification diploma or degree with strong accounting focus
• Product Management Experience 2- 3 years
• Track record in solutions sales, channel management and commercial relationship building
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at C -Level engagements
• Commercial orientated focus to product management
• Project management skills
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be a self-driven and motivated person
• Must be a team player
• Able to travel extensively

KPAs:

• Responsible for effective management of the assigned product portfolio working closely with the Product Portfolio Manager
• Increasing the profitability of existing products up to developing new products for the company
• Support the assigned portfolio in the day-to-day management and activities
• Develop an understanding of the marketplace and competitive landscape
• Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions
• Review, and keep up to date on new developments regarding competitor products
• Maintenance of products on the ERP and CRM systems, pricing updates and adjustments
