About the position:
We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for driving pragmatic solutions and providing robust advice in an ever-changing digital environment. The individual will join a team of experienced technologists and use their commercial, legal and technology expertise to anticipate, minimise and resolve technological based threats across various technology platforms.
To provide expertise, advice and support on composite issues relating to technology and technology service providers, including contractual, intellectual property, cyber security, procurement, regulatory compliance, financial and commercial issues, by managing and leveraging relationships with key technology partners, anticipating and minimising technological risks in an efficient, pragmatic, and timeous manner which limits operational disruption and maximises the value of the organisations investment in technology and delivers against its strategic objectives.Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
Relevant Master's degree (LLM) (NQF 9) with at least 10 years relevant professional practice or senior in-house counsel experience and specialised knowledge of IT Law and Intellectual Property lawALTERNATIVE #
OR Relevant LLB degree (NQF 7/8) with at least 15 years relevant professional practice or senior in-house counsel experience and specialised knowledge of IT Law and Intellectual Property law.
