A well-established leading comminution, separation and sorting technology provider to the mining and metallurgical plant operations, chemical and industrial industries, as well as pulp and paper industries requires the above to be responsible for new business development whilst servicing existing customers.
Minimum requirements for the role: 
  • BSc Degree in Chemical or related with a BComm in a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years’ working experience within a similar industry is essential.
  • Must have excellent budget, communication and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal and mentorship skills are essential.
  • Must have a technical aptitude.

 The successful candidate will be responsible for: 
  • Overseeing staff recruitment and training as well as ensuring sales team alignment.
  • Managing the sales strategy formulation and implementation.
  • Maintaining customer contact and following up on leads.
  • Increasing sales of capital equipment.
  • Coordinating site visits associated with enquiries as well as reviewing all new enquiries.
  • Coordinating tender pricing and submissions as well as following up on tenders through to conclusion.
  • Recording tender feedback information on the appropriate network.
  • Negotiating tenders through to order processing.
  • Clarifying all technical and commercial matters prior to acceptance.
  • Handing over contracts for execution and updating sales procedures and documents.
  • Preparing monthly sales reports.
  • Overseeing spearhead marketing effort with regards to advertising and exhibitions.
  • Maintaining competitor and market intelligence.
