Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer specialist in Air Handling Units to join their  fast growing team in Pietermaritzburg.

A Technical Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and business development. This position requires a deep understanding of HVAC products or services.

Purpose of this role:

The primary purpose is to support the sales team by providing technical knowledge, understanding customer requirements, and presenting solutions that meet or exceed those requirements.

Minimum Qualification:
  • 3 year qualification in Engineering
  • Proven experience in a technical sales
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
 
Product Knowledge:

Develop a deep understanding of the company's technical products or services.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive offerings.

Customer Engagement & Support

Work closely with the sales team to identify and understand customer needs.
Engage with customers to gather technical requirements and provide pre-sales support.

Solution Presentation:
 
Create and deliver technical presentations to potential clients, demonstrating how the company's products or services can meet their specific needs.
Articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Proposal Development:

Collaborate with the sales and product development teams to create customized proposals based on customer requirements.
Ensure proposals align with technical capabilities and business objectives.

Demonstrations and Proof of Concept:

Conduct product demonstrations to showcase key features and benefits.
